Our History - Panamerican Jiu-Jitsu Federation (PJJF) was established in 1999. Over the past 19 plus years, PJJF has provided multiple continental training and certification programs for traditional focused Jiu-Jitsuka as well as competition training & events at the regional, continental and international level for sport focused jiu-jitsuka.
Who Are We - Panamerican Jiu-Jitsu Federation (PJJF) is the PAN Am Continental Governing Body for Jiu-Jitsu with the Martial Arts International Federation (MAIF) and World Jiu-Jitsu (WJJ). PJJF is an All-Inclusive Continental Organization for All Styles or Systems of the Ancient "JJ" Art. PJJF is a Non-Profit Organization. PJJF Supports The Association For International Sport For All (TAFISA) which is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The PJJF is more than a Continental Governing Body, PJJF is working in cooperation with many systems and styles of the Ancient "JJ" Art (in its many spellings) with the primary focus of preserving the Art of Jiu-Jitsu and encouraging mutual cooperation and respect. Traditional and Sport Minded Persons alike are Welcome to Unite under the PJJF Banner to ensure that Jiu-Jitsu remains strong and focused as a disciplined art for self-defense and exceptional self-improvement. Our Mission - The Mission of the Panamerican Jiu-Jitsu Federation (PJJF) is to unify American Ju-Jitsuka with a foundation of mutual respect for all styles or systems of Ju-Jitsu and to provide services and guidance to foster Technical Excellence, Fellowship and Human Character Development. As the PAN AM Governing Body for Ju-Jitsu, Panamerican Jiu-Jitsu Federation selects, prepares and sends the Official USA TEAMS to Continental, International & World Level Competitions.
